  Star Walks
  We held a stargazing evening at Alyn Waters Country Park, supported by Dark Sky Discovery. Around 190 people came along to the free event which included StarDome Planetarium shows, a talk by Richard Sargeant from the Chester Astronomical Society and of course, stargazing in the park itself.

  Climate Change: What Can We Do?
  Over 150 children from 14 primary schools came to TQG to learn about climate change and renewable energy through interactive workshops, in an event organised by Europe Direct.

  She Inspired
  TQG and the artists behind educational comic Clockwork Express ran a schools competition to produce art relating to women in science, funded by the Arts Council of Wales.

  Space Explorers Weekends 2012
  We partnered up with BBC Stargazing LIVE for the second year running, to offer two weekends packed full of space and astronomy activities, including our StarDome planetarium, Rockets workshop, Mission to Titan workshop, a talk on telescopes and of course, stargazing itself.

  The third meeting of the Astronomy Club featured free activities such as the StarDome, a talk on telescopes, fun activities and a competition.

  Robotics Week
  As part of Robotics Week, pupils had the opportunity to build and program robots in TQG’s new LEGO® Education INNOVATION STUDIO. They also met ECCEROBOT, an incredibly detailed and accurate copy of human anatomy which can see, touch and have the sensation of experience.
